It was very clean and well kept, they were stocked with clean towels awaiting us as we walked through the door, and we were able to get seats alongside the wave pool to leave our cover-ups and towels while we ventured off to explore. This translates into a lot more time spent splashing with your family and much less time hanging out in the room.īear Track Landing Waterpark is filled with a giant four-story tree house complete with slides to return you to the bottom, a wave pool, a regular pool, huge water slides of varying proportions and thrill levels, an outdoor water area and pool, two hot tubs, a basketball pool, lily pad crossings alongside one another in another pool, a lazy river, a toddler play area with small slides, and tons of splashing fun! Of all of the indoor water parks we've been to before, this offered the widest variety and greatest assortment of entertaining splash time for the family. The reality, however, is that your payment for the room includes unlimited access to the indoor waterpark, namely Bear Track Landing Waterpark, during its operating hours both on your arrival and departure days, and any days in between if staying longer than overnight. Our balcony had a view of the woods on the Pocono Mountains and had two chairs and a small table outside ready for you to relax. Additionally, the room was equipped with a cold mini fridge and a microwave inside, too. The room was spacious, clean, and had a small half-wall to separate the sleeping area from the sitting area and sliding glass door to the balcony. Our family stayed in a Family Suite with a Balcony. They were quite cute and a nice keepsake to come home with from our trip, too. Aside from sleeping and playing inside the water park, I don't believe those wolf ears left their head the entire time of our visit. Our kids were given these adorable Wolf Ears on a headband that said Great Wolf Lodge on the back of one of the ears. You were also able to set up your bracelet to charge incidentals back to your room and eliminate the need for you to be carrying anything else with you while inside the resort. Upon check-in, we were all outfitted with bracelets that also served as our room key. Great Wolf Lodge has the charm of a wooden lodge and the attention to detail is widespread throughout the accommodations. There are wolves etched into the wood both inside and out, and the lobby that greets you upon entering is expansive. As soon as we pulled into the complex, the detail and character of Great Wolf Lodge's resort was apparent. It was an easy drive and took just two hours from our home. Our family recently ventured to Pennsylvania up in the Poconos to visit Great Wolf Lodge for the first time.
